now back to our reg friday LOLs!
Thanks for hanging with me during my first ever Un F*YOUrself digital course launch. TBH, it was super fun and overwhelming. I can't wait to dig in and help my students tap into their creativity. My career in eCommerce paid off during launch because I know my way around a website, can figure out a new platform fairly quickly so I'm self-sufficient. Totally high-fiving myself right now.
Which is the exact opposite of what my kids did last night during dinner. It was another have a tantrum about the food because it isn't what you want. Then, shove it in your mouth as fast as you can so you can get dessert and get back on the screen type of dinner.
In all fairness, I can understand why Axel was disappointed. I told him I was making him a BLTA ( Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Avocado), with only B & L. The T and the A were being delivered and hadn't shown up yet. And, I can understand why Ever, the vegetarian, was upset. She was only getting a sandwich with L.
Just kidding. I made her a grilled cheese. She didn't like the bread the grilled cheese was on. It was Tartine bread. If you live in SF you know it's the best bread ever. But according to her, my bread is better. I mean just saying at least she likes one thing I make.
Anyway, thinking about bacon and bread is making me ready for breakfast and is the perfect segue to tell you that a new episode of Talking Smack 415 dropped this week. In this episode, Jamie the Great and I talk smack with Alyssa Abrahamson, who shimmied her career from burlesque dancer to functional nutritionist. We talk about stress, body pain, and auto-immune disease, which you may suffer from. We discuss how having a compassionate and positive mindset can start the healing process. ( definitely, that was not the mindset at my dinner table.)
Alyssa offers highly personalized 1:1 nutrition & wellness coaching as well as a 6-week small group coaching program, "Nourish Till You Flourish.” You can find all things Alyssa at the Wellness Headquarters. Go to her website to set up a free 30-minute call to determine which first step you should take to restore your health today. Also, Alyssa is about to launch a Podcast called Positively Anti-Inflammatory. If you want to keep your inflammation down and your spirits up, check it out, subscribe and leave a rating and review.
Share this episode with a friend and or family member who struggles with auto-immune disease. This friend of Jamie the Great really enjoyed the episode and learned more about compassion.
Also, I need some inspiration for dinners. What did you make for dinner last night? Email me, debbie@debbiemink.com, and let me know!
All my Leopard Print and Lipstick 💋,
